Kevin Peter Carroll Submits 2.3K Signatures

More than 5x Requisite Number to Get on Ballot Given to BOE

Brooklyn, New York: Kevin Peter Carroll, candidate for the 43rd City Council District, today submitted over 2,300 petition signatures to the New York City Board of Elections – more than five times the required number of 450 – in order to ensure his place on the September 12th Democratic Primary ballot.

“I am both thrilled and humbled by the number of people who are supporting my candidacy and signed my ballot petitions,” said Kevin Peter Carroll. “The feedback I’ve received about my vision for the district – better funding for local schools, affordable housing for seniors, and city control of our transportation systems – has energized me and my campaign as we gear up for the democratic primary election in September.”

“I also want to thank my campaign staff and all my volunteers for their efforts to help get me on September’s ballot,” Carroll continued. “I am very lucky to have their support as we ramp up our campaign efforts!”
